Can you provide a "Reference Swab"?
To match the DNA found on your item, the lab needs a known reference sample (like your own cheek swab) to compare it against.

❌
No, I cannot
I do not have a reference swab.
β›” CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: We cannot perform a DNA comparison without a known reference sample. Without your cheek swab, the lab cannot tell you if the DNA belongs to you or an unknown third party. Therefore, we cannot proceed with your case.

What does this Viability Chart mean?
This highlights the scientific likelihood that the lab can extract enough human DNA from your item to perform a matching comparison. If extraction fails due to degradation or environmental factors, the lab cannot proceed, and laboratory processing fees are non-refundable.

Understanding the Forensic Process

Phase 1: Detection & Extraction

The laboratory performs a biological detection analysis on your submitted item to confirm the presence of human cellular material or male semen. If biological material is detected, the lab isolates the DNA and attempts to generate a viable genetic profile.

Phase 2: Profile Comparison

Once an "Unknown" genetic profile is successfully extracted from the item, the laboratory compares it directly against the "Known" reference cheek swab you provided. If the profiles do not match, it scientifically confirms the presence of an unknown third party.

Strict Brown Paper Bag Rule

Biological evidence degrades extremely fast when exposed to humidity. You must place your sample in a dry, sealed brown paper bag or envelope. Plastic Ziploc bags trap moisture and accelerate mold growth, which destroys the DNA profile before it reaches the lab.

Florida Consent Laws

Under Florida state law, extracting and analyzing an individual's DNA without their explicit consent is classified as a "Peace of Mind" test. These results are 100% scientifically accurate but are completely inadmissible as evidence in civil or family court proceedings.

Forensic Testing FAQs

What items can and cannot be used for infidelity testing?
Accepted: Semen/fluid swabs, stained underwear or fabrics, used toothbrushes, nail clippings, cigarette butts, and hair (must have the root attached).

Not Accepted: Hair without roots (cut or shed), items preserved in formaldehyde, urine, stool, vomit, or standard food items. Place all samples in a brown paper bag.
Can I put my sample in a Ziploc bag?
NO. You must use a brown paper bag or envelope. Plastic bags trap moisture and cause mold, which will destroy the DNA and result in a failed laboratory test.
Can I use a credit card to pay?
No. To ensure absolute privacy, anonymity, and compliance with forensic processing guidelines, we only accept Cash or Zelle for these specific tests.
What happens if the lab cannot extract DNA from my item?
Some items have low viability (under 60%). If the laboratory attempts extraction but the DNA is too degraded to generate a profile, the processing fees remain non-refundable as the laboratory has already utilized their materials and time.
